On Thursday, February 8, 2024, the general secretaries of the trade unions, CFE-CGC, CGT, SNA, and FO, along with the General Counsel representing the staff, provided live commentary via videoconference to all employees of the Banque de France regarding the announcements made by the Banque de France regarding the restructuration of the “Cashier network” unveiled during the Works Council meeting on February 7, 2024. Thus, the cash desks in Rouen, Reims, Metz, Annecy, Grenoble, Nice, Montpellier, Limoges, and Niort will close between June and December 2025.
This communication allowed for the discussion of the key points of the announced plan, as well as addressing questions, inquiries, or remarks from all Bank of France staff.
