The members of the Executive Bureau meet for the first time in 2024, in Paris

On January 15 and 16, 2024, the Executive Bureau of SCECBU convened for the first time this year. The members of the Executive Bureau focused on enhancing SCECBU’s communication, particularly by preparing videos for each working group, which will soon be published on our website. These videos aim to showcase the work of each group and encourage SCECBU trade unions to actively participate in them. Additionally, the Executive Bureau reviewed an initial study by Birgit Sauerzopf regarding the quality of social dialogue at the European level. This work will be further explored during the upcoming Executive Bureau meeting in Vienna in April. The meeting also served as an opportunity to plan the next session with the ECB for organising future meetings on Social Dialogue within the SEBC, SSM, and Banknotes. Finally, over these two days of meetings, the Executive Bureau had discussions with Isabelle Thousery, HRC representative of the Banque de France and Arnaud Lemeu, Director of Human Resources Policy, but also with the new General Counceller Elected by the Staff of Banque de France (CGRP), Benoît Besson.
