Never cease to defend the printing works of central banks

The manufacture of banknotes is one of the “pillars” activities of central banks’ missions. However, it is now clear that the threat to the printing works of the central banks is strong. The cause of this pressure is most certainly because the ECB’s policy is to promote cost reductions to the detriment of the quality public service mission.
